My sister, Kathy, embroidered this beautiful rendition of Thorin's Map, from The Hobbit several years ago. I regret that my camera skills were not able to capture it better, but hope that you can see just how gorgeous it is. It really is exceptional.

I actually did this in late 1983! It's on one of my father's handkerchief's, after he died that year, so it's very special to me. In fact, it's the only thing I've ever paid to have framed! Kath
Oh, Kathy! I didn't know it was one of Dad's handkerchiefs! Or if I did, I had forgotten that (but I can't imagine I'd forget that. . .) You're right, that makes it even more special.
And it is beautifully framed, even though it doesn't show in my pictures.
